Ultimate Guide: Fabulash’s Korean Lash Lift
“Eyelashes have the impressive ability to transform your face. Just like when you add lashes to Mickey mouse, you’ll get Minnie Mouse; or to Bugs Bunny, you’ll get Lola Bunny. I find lashes as the most attractive magnet a face can have. Beautiful lashes emphasize your eyes, attracting compliments. Who on earth doesn’t want to get compliments, right? Everyone does!
Thus, fabulous and lashes combined together made me create FABULASH.

Korean Lash Lift: Procedure
Korean Lash Lift, as its name implies, is a type of lash procedure which enables the lashes to hold its curl for 2-3 months; depending on how one takes care of it. The procedure is Korean-style and the products used are from Korea. First, my lower lashes were held down by tapes to avoid mixing it with my upper lashes. Eye pads, which fit my eye shape, were applied on my lids where my lashes were glued unto. Anne, who did the procedure, coated my lashes with a type of cream and let it sit for 15 minutes. Same time was alloted for the second cream. The first two creams had a strong scent but was cancelled by the essence – the third product applied. The next step was black coating which was likely a tint to darken my lashes’ color. The last step was the keratin boost.
In my case, it took nearly an hour for the whole procedure to finish. Anne was very keen to my requests as there were times when the first two creams were prickly and irritating my eyes. I’m happy that she also made sure that her hands were always sanitized. I was also advised to avoid rubbing my eyes for its longevity. In addition, compared to eyelash perming, this lash lift still allows the use of mascara and has longer wear. The price of this service costs P2,500 and does not require any maintenance after the procedure. The products used were safe and even though the eyes look sore, or reddish, upon opening, it was normal to happen.
Korean Lash Lift: Wear Test
To my delight, the results were evident. I made sure that I took care of the lashes even though I use mascara. Also, I always remind myself to avoid rubbing it whenever I wake up in the morning, wash my face, and remove my eye makeup. Using a cotton pad dampened by micellar water and wiping it upwards was my method of removing my mascara.
Below are photos of my lashes from day 0 to a week. Since this lash lift lasts for 2-3 months, I will continue to update this blog post with a photo once a week until the 12th week to let you know about my verdict about this.
P.S. I promise that my review is unbiased even though it was sponsored. Rest assured that everything that you read here is true and straight from the heart.
Day 0 (July 12, 2018)
Day 1 (July 13, 2018)
I used the Sivanna Colors HD Extra Length Volume Mascara which I bought from Thailand. You can check out my review about the mascara through here.
Day 2 (July 14, 2018)
I was wearing the Benefit Cosmetics BADGal BANG! Mascara on this photo. I did not experience difficulty applying the mascara.
Day 3 (July 15, 2018)
I didn’t wear any mascara on this photo. My lashes were still lifted.
Day 4 (July 16, 2018)
The outer part of my lashes on my left eye were pointing downwards. I’m not sure if it was from the weight of the mascara I used. I was wearing the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara.
Day 5 (July 17, 2018)
I used the same mascara as the fourth day. My lashes in this photo was not as weighed down, so it was probably of the weight of the mascara why my lashes seemed to point downwards.
Day 6 (July 18, 2018)
I used the Benefit BADGal BANG! Mascara when this photo was taken.
Day 7 (July 19, 2018)
I was wearing the Benefit BADGal BANG! Mascara on this photo. As observed, my lashes were still lifted even after a week. In addition, I did not experience problems even if I wear mascara almost everyday.
Week 2 (July 26, 2018)
The Benefit BadGal Bang! Mascara was on my lashes during this photo. My lashes were still lifted and I never used an eyelash curler.
Week 3 (August 2, 2018)
Week 4 (August 9, 2018)
Week 5 (August 16, 2018)
Week 6 (August 23, 2018)
Week 7 (August 30, 2018)
Week 9 (September 13, 2018)
Week 12 (October 4, 2018)
Verdict: I recommend this!
After 12 weeks, I am very happy with my lash lift. I never used an eyelash curler and I apply mascara everyday. Even though the lashes on my right eye (left on this picture) were not as lifted compared to my other eye. It started to weigh down on the 5th week. While some stayed lifted, some looks scattered and pointing on other directions aside from upwards. There are only a few strands that stayed upright when I’m not wearing mascara. As of the 9th week, most of my lashes are pointing downwards already but still have their curl. On the twelfth week, there are only a few lashes lifted. I’m very impressed of this even though I gently rub my eyelashes to remove my mascara.
