Application:
The Inga Semi-Matte Lipstick I have is in the shade Someday Good. I felt a bit of a tug when I swiped the product for the first time. It felt as if the product has a veil-like protection. However, the application afterwards was so smooth. The product was easy to apply and the color appears even. There was no patchy areas. I didn’t experience any problem applying the lipstick even if I forgot to scrub my lips. It’s so creamy and pigmented.
Performance:
I checked if the lipstick is transfer-proof. Since it is semi-matte its creamy formula made it transfer easily.
I tried this product for a whole day, and here are a few snaps for you to see how the lipstick performed.
- Upon Application (8AM)
The product applies very easily and feels very lightweight. It doesn’t cling to the dry areas of my lips. The color pay-off is even, may the application pressure be light or hard.
- 3 Hours after (11 AM)
After eating and drinking, with no retouch, this is how the lipstick appears. There’s barely no product left on my lips aside from those at the corners. This is because the formula is not purely matte. It doesn’t completely dry, but it is very creamy.
I advise to retouch this lipstick after eating or drinking to make sure that the lips remain evenly covered.
Verdict: I recommend this product!
