Makeup Review: With Me Signal Metal Prism Glitter Liquid Eye Shadow

Textures add depth and drama to any object. For some, they pair a woven top to black slacks, or add waves to locks for a simple spice. In the case of makeup, glitter eye shadows are used for glam looks to add dimensions. The With Me Signal Metal Prism Glitter Liquid Eye Shadow offers metallic-pearl glitter eye shadows that accentuate the eyes. Its pigment mixed with its moist formula further compliments any eye shape, making it brighter-looking. Sounds promising, right? Let’s get into this product’s nitty-gritty.

Makeup Breakdown

Packaging

The product comes in a black plastic cap and has a doe-foot applicator. You’re able to see the product’s pigment through the body and the shade is also printed on it. The product weighs 1.5 grams and its PAO is 6 months. The product is made in Korea. This product is available on my Charis store for Php 730.00.

Shade

Currently, the Signal Metal Prism Glitter Eye shadow has 6 shades.

With Me Signal Metal Prism Glitter Liquid Eye Shadow

I have with me No. 02 Rainbow Sunset and No. 05 Mannish Brown. Rainbow Sunset has a pink iridescent base which sparkles with silver and yellow on different angles. Meanwhile, Mannish Brown appears to be a copper-based shimmer shadow which looks a tad bit darker or lighter depending on how light shines on it.

Smell

There’s no particular smell with the glitter eye shadows.

Application

The doe-foot applicator has an edge tip to it and a hollow on the middle to ensure that enough product will be dispensed. There was no problem applying the product nor blending it in. However, to avoid creasing, applying an eye shadow primer helps a lot. Also, I found out that if in case I wanted to have a more opaque finish, I have to let the first layer dry completely before I apply another layer.

Performance

The longevity of the product is impressive. However, to avoid creasing, applying an eye shadow primer helps a lot. Also, I found out that if in case I wanted to have a more opaque finish, I have to let the first layer dry completely before I apply another. I applied a fresh layer without waiting for the first layer to dry completely during the first time I used it. The product creased on the natural folds of my eyelids, leaving them less opaque than the other areas. Hence, I suggest using an eye shadow primer as its base, and wait for it to dry before building it up.

Verdict: I recommend this product!

Claims

  • Strong adhesiveness without fluttering powder

I agree that this product is adhesive, but I had to wait for it to dry fully if I want to build the coverage. In that case, I close my eyes for a few seconds so that it won’t crease.

  • Enhances the eyes

This product adds the right amount of drama for definition and depth to accentuate the eyes. So, if you’re looking for an eye shadow for an extra oomph for your look, this product is the one.
