Makeup Review: Ever Bilena All Day Liquid Foundation

Flawless skin on every angle, thanks to Ever Bilena All Day Liquid Foundation. It promises a lightweight feel and buildable coverage while blurring out imperfections. The finish is claimed to be natural with a luminous glow. I was instantly intrigued by its finish because that’s what I look for in a foundation. I prefer a natural-looking, specially for foundation, wherein it looks as if I’m not wearing makeup at all. It helps as well to skip baking, hence a slight dust of powder would be enough to help keep it in place. I haven’t had any foundation from local brands that took my breath away. So, I’m very much excited to share my experience with you about this product.

Makeup Breakdown

Packaging:

The Ever Bilena All Day Liquid Foundation comes in a matte black plastic packaging with a pump. There were times when I had difficulty dispensing the product because there’s nothing coming out. Thus, I recommend to store it upright. It also mentions on its packaging to shake it well before using. Since the formula is quite thick, I had to put a bit of effort to shake it well.The PAO of the foundation is 12 months. It is also cruelty-free and paraben-free.

Shade:

There are currently 4 shades of this foundation. Porcelain is the lightest shade and has a yellow undertone. The Silk shade suited me and it has a natural beige hue. Oriental is another shade which suits those with medium complexion with yellow undertone. Lastly, Sandstone is the darkest.

Smell:

It neither smells extraordinary nor lingers after some time.

Application:

The Ever Bilena All Day Liquid Foundation blends easily. I used a damp sponge to apply the foundation. It doesn’t set fast so I didn’t have to rush applying and blending it into my skin. As I’ve mentioned, the formula is thick so a little goes a long way. It also appears opaque so don’t expect that it will blend with your complexion. Hopefully the shade range of this foundation would be extended.

Performance:

Upon Application (7AM)

This is how the foundation looks upon application. I did not put any powder yet to set it in place. The foundation looks luminous and my skin looks healthy. The coverage is even all throughout my face. On the dry patches of my chin, it did not moisturize or help blur the area.

3 hours after application (10AM)

The foundation’s coverage still looks even. There are no areas wherein the foundation faded. Its luminosity is toned down due to the setting powder I used. Textures and dry patches still peek through. There are also creases on my laugh line area.

6 hours after application (1PM)

I didn’t retouch at all. My blush is still showing and foundation has definitely blended already with my complexion.

9 hours after application (4PM)

Still, my textures continue to peek through. These are definitely the times when I hate high-definition cameras, LOL. I have no chance to hide! Kidding aside, my blush faded already but still shows. There’s no significant difference from my 1PM update. It was just the lighting which affected the photo details.

12 hours after application (7PM)

The foundation has mixed with my natural oils. The powders I’ve used disappeared already. However, the coverage is still there. The foundation’s shade still maintained even. I believe that if I touched up by the 6^th or 9^th hour, this foundation would look fresh as freshly applied.

Verdict: I recommend this product!

Claims:

Lightweight Feel

I agree that this foundation feels as if I’m not wearing anything at all. It has a thick consistency and opaque coverage. A little goes a long way and it blends easily so there’s minimal chance that it gets cakey or uncomfortable.

Buildable Coverage

There’s no problem encountered when I tried to apply more product on top of it on areas where I wanted a full coverage. Thumbs up!

Natural and Luminous-Glow finish

Its natural finish is the main reason why I love this foundation! I’m not pretty sure about its luminous glow effect, but it appears skin-like and healthy up to the 9th hour mark. I’m super impressed.
