Watch out for this Avon Legendary Lengths Mascara

I think we’d all agree that when we’re talking about lashes, #SizeMatters. Avon launched the Legendary Lengths Mascara, which has an HDFX formula that lengthens and separates the lashes in an instant. Its shade is pigmented to achieve a dramatic, long, and ultra-dark lashes. Dare to give an impact with this mascara, thanks to its Tapered Definer Brush. Lastly, it claims to not smudge, clump or even flake. I’m so much excited to try this in the hot and humid climate in the Philippines.

Makeup Breakdown: Avon Legendary Lengths Mascara

Packaging:

This mascara comes in an elongated plastic tube. It weighs 10 grams and is very lightweight. Even though there’s no PAO indicated, it is advised to discard this mascara within 3 months of opening. In addition, this is manufactured by Avon Products Manufacturing Inc. here in the Philippines. In its box, it also has the FRAME logo saying “supporting alternatives to animal testing”.

Shade:

Based from my research, this mascara only has one shade available – blackest black.

Smell:

The Avon Legendary Lengths Mascara smells just like any ordinary mascara.

Price:

This mascara is priced at P299. It’s currently less 7% at Avon Shop as of writing, hence cost is P279.00. I got mine through Lazada and I got it for P123.00. Actually, there are a lot of resellers online so just be sure you’re buying from a legit one.

Application:

According to Avon, this mascara has an Instalength Tapered Brush that can separate and define hard-to-reach lashes. Also, it has next-generation polymers create film that result in extra length. To ensure purity of its formula, never lend or borrow mascara. Additionally, never add water or saliva. Make sure that the cap tightly sealed.

Based from my experience, this mascara applied very easily! Although I layered my application, it did not appear clumpy or too thick. I was able to reach also the lashes on the edges of my eyes.

Lengthens

I agree! The formula added length to my lashes, because honestly, that’s not how long my lashes are IRL!

Volumizes

This mascara could definitely volumize! I got that thickness that fits my preference.

Reaches every lash

I love its applicator being thin and not having too long “bristles”. Easy application in 1, 2, 3!

Does not smudge, clump or flake

I tested this for 10 hours on a hot and humid day and this mascara did not smudge at all. I was even sweating and applied gloss on my eyelids, yet it did not transfer. No flaking and clumping, too!
