I knew I had to get my hands on it because of its amazing claims. In particular, hydrating and moisturizing, glow-y finish, and a soft kissable wash of color. It’s like a balm, but can already be an alternative to regular lipstick because of its sheer coverage. It’s a treat for the lips because of its moisture-rich ingredients.

Packaging:

This lip product comes in a very on-point packaging. It looks and feels very luxe! I like the glass-like design on the edges. Also, plus points that it’s so small and compact. It would be very easy to bring this anywhere since it won’t take too much space.

The Detail Cosmetics Satin Luxe Lite is cruelty free and has no animal-derived ingredients. Additionally, its PAO is 12 months and packaging is recyclable. It is not advised to store this under direct sunlight. Moreover, this is formulated and distributed in the Philippines but made in China. Other details like the product’s batch number, and manufacturing and expiration dates area indicated in the packaging.

Shade:

There are a total of 6 available shades for the Detail Cosmetics Satin Luxe Lite. Four (4) shades are sheer lip colors. Meanwhile, there are 2 skin-intuitive that adapts based on your skin’s natural PH to give off the most complimentary lip color.

For this review, I bought soda pop, a sheer mahogany brown, and pink ade, a skin intuitive pink.

Smell:

The two shades I have smell citrus-like with a bit of vanilla s. Nonetheless, the smell doesn’t linger for too long so it’s not bothersome.

Application:

According to the packaging, this product should be applied as follows:

Apply one layer for a sheer moisturizing wash of color on the lips.
Layer on to build desired pigmentation.

I enjoy applying this lip product. It glides very smoothly. Also, I observed that the more I apply, the more opaque the shade becomes. That makes it easy to build up the color pay-off depending on my preference.

Claims:

Hydrating and Moisturizing

I agree! It felt hydrating and moisturizing even after the 3rd hour mark. Although the color faded after eating, my lips still felt smooth and plump.

Glow Finish

The glow finish it gives comes from its hydrating and moisturizing properties. However, this doesn’t dry matte so this is definitely going to transfer.

Soft Kissable Wash of Color

You are able to build the opacity yet it still appears very natural. From having a hint of color to sheer-light coverage, the Detail Cosmetics Satin Luxe Lite’s going to be your lips’ new best friend.
