Ready for the Review Results on the Sace Lady BB Cream?

For less than P300, will this product promise its claim to give full coverage, flawless finish, and 12-hour wear? I found it quite impossible because it’s priced cheap despite its amazing claims. Nonetheless, I got my hands on it and here I am to test this product, Sace Lady Lasting Waterproof BB Cream. Moreover, Sace Lady’s one of the top-selling makeup brands in Shopee. All the more that I got intrigued about this BB Cream.

Makeup Breakdown: Sace Lady Lasting Waterproof BB Cream

Packaging:

The Sace Lady Lasting Waterproof BB Cream comes in a plastic tube with a screw cap. You have to pinch it to dispense the product, and with that, I find that it’s a bit tricky to control. Aside from that, this product weighs 30g or 1.06oz, and has a PAO of 12 months. Additionally, it’s made in People’s Republic of China, PRC, and it is not tested on animals.

Shade:

As of writing, there are 5 shades for the BB Cream. I picked the shade 03, but it was lighter than my complexion.

Smell:

The Sace Lady Long Lasting Waterproof BB Cream has a scent that’s chemical-like and a bit powdery. I’m honestly not a fan of its scent because it lingers for a little while.

Price:

This BB cream retails for P300, but I got mine through Shopee for P249. I also received free sampler of its different shades. You can get this also in Lazada for around the same price.

Application:

According to Sace Lady, a Basic Priming must be first used. Then, with clean fingertips, lightly dab the product onto skin. Use damp sponge to blend from center of the face outwards.

Performance:

Upon Application

My skin looks healthy and skin-like. No product settled on my dry patches. It gave a medium coverage after I used a damp sponge as an applicator.

After 3 hours

The only difference I observed is that the product where my shades’ nose pad lies on started to look less obvious. Nonetheless, the rest of my face still looked similar to when I first applied the product.

After 6 hours

By this time, my face looked more dewy because of the naturally produced oils of my face. The product started to fade on my nose, which is oily at this point. Nonetheless, it still looks natural. I think what could have helped also why my face looked more natural is because I spent most of my day in an enclosed space with the AC on.

After 9 hours

With no retouch, I’d say that this product can only last until the 9th hour mark. No more product is left on my nose and my forehead also started to look oily.

Verdict: I recommend the Sace Lady Lasting Waterproof BB Cream!

Claims:

Full coverage

I don’t agree. I’d say that it gives a medium coverage upon application. However, its formula is buildable to achieve a fuller coverage. Hence, I’d say that this BB cream gives medium to full coverage.

Flawless finish

I was very much impressed by its finish. When I first applied this product, it blended well on my skin. It looked very natural with a bit of glow-y finish. I like that it’s able to control my natural oils until the 6th hour mark. I also agree that it’s non-acnegenic because no small pimple-like appeared which would mean my skin’s irritated.

Long wear

This product claims to be sweat and water proof. Although I didn’t sweat when I tried this product, I experienced that the area of my nose covered by my shade’s nose pad had no more product left. But then, that’s not an isolated case since it commonly happens to products that was not set with powder or a spray. This product stayed well on the rest of my face and I liked it!
