For this review, I personally tried and tested 2 Prima skincare products – Prima 3R Rejuvenating Set and Intensiwhite Snow Cream, plus Theralax Aromatic Relaxant Oil for seven days straight. I’m confident with my thoughts and if you’re interested to buy these products, please keep on reading!
Prima 3R Rejuvenating Set
View this post on Instagram
Refresh, restore and rejuvenate – that’s what 3R stands for and promises to deliver. The set claims to replenish and rehydrate dry skin, revitalize, cleanse, whitens and brightens the skin. It reduces fine lines and wrinkles while leaving skin soft, smooth and more youthful. In addition, it eliminates pimples, acne, whiteheads and blackheads. The set comes with a 3R Kojic soap, 3R Cleansing Toner, 3R Whitening Cream and 3R Night Cream which are all dermatologically tested. The results promise a brighter, whiter and younger looking skin to achieve natural glow.
Packaging:
The set looks very girly, and may not be preferred by men. I hope that they design more neutral-looking packaging. On the other note, I appreciate that the toner has an additional seal to avoid the product from evaporating. I don’t like the packaging of the toner and the creams because of their thin plastic containers. They don’t look sturdy enough to bring specially when travelling.
Smell:
The 3R Kojic soap has a distinct smell to it which I don’t consider fragrant at all, but definitely smells clean. The 3R Cleansing Toner and the 3R Whitening Cream smell very chemically but there’s a hint of fragrance. It’s the 3R night cream that is the most fragrant.
Application:
I did not experience any problem with applying and blending the products. The 3R Whitening Cream has a thick consistency but blends as fast as the 3R Night Cream. On the positive note, however, a little product goes a long way for the 3R Whitening Cream compared to the 3R Night Cream.
Performance:
Overall, this set has everything one needs for a daily skincare routine. I start off with using the soap as a cleanser. The soap, however, cannot remove waterproof makeup. Toner comes next and it has no stinging sensation. After the toner is the cream to be applied which depends if it’s daytime or nighttime. The 3R Whitening Cream leaves a white cast which is probably because of its SPF content. The 3R Night Cream leaves no shade to the skin.
Verdict: I don’t recommend this
I have dry to normal skin type and I never had dry patches on my face when I used the set. My face feels very clean and nourished whenever I use them, but after 7 days, I didn’t see any whitening or brightening effect. I was very much amazed with how it dealt with my whiteheads specially on my chin because I observed that they were eliminated. Obviously, I have mixed feelings with this set, but I have observed that my skin reacted and I had small pimples all over my face. It was my face telling me that an ingredient is too harsh, but I can’t pinpoint which. I’m not prone to having pimples so that’s a big factor why I don’t recommend this. It’s definitely the toner which I love the most from this set. Another is that each product is not sold separately. I have observed that my 3R night cream is running low while my 3R Whitening Cream and 3R Kojic Soap could even last for 2 weeks more. I don’t think it’s budget-friendly to buy another set, when I only need one product.
Intensiwhite Snow Cream Review
Price: Php 970.00
The product claims to moisturize the skin and brighten dull complexion to achieve a natural glowing effect. It has whitening actives that penetrates from inside out for a more flawless and whiter skin complexion. Also, it nourishes the skin, lightens dark spots and freckles, and reverses wrinkle and acne formation. It also assures sun protection because it has SPF 50. The product has no PAO indicated, but the manufacturing and expiration dates are printed out.
Packaging:
The packaging comes in a glass container which feels and looks luxurious. The product weighs 50 grams.
Smell:
The product smells a bit strong. There is a hint of fragrance but the chemical-like scent overpowers it. The smell lingers for a long time.
Application:
For 7 days, I used this product over the 3R Whitening Cream. The product has a very thick consistency and a little goes a long way. I find it a bit difficult to blend because of its thickness. This product is also easily absorbed fast by my skin, thus the necessity to work fast to achieve an even base. I was just worried whenever I blend the product on my neck because there’s tugging.
Performance:
Everytime I use this product, it leaves a white cast that instantly brightens my complexion. I have observed that it sets very fast and the areas where I have dotted the product become patches where makeup refuses to stick to. With that I always make sure that I quickly spread and blend it on my face and neck. Aside from that, the product is actually a very good makeup base, like a moisturizing primer.
Verdict: I don’t recommend this
The price point of this product is expensive and it did not help to reverse acne formation because of my skin’s reaction from using Prima Rejuvenating Set. I don’t think that I can use this product everyday. Too bad because I definitely love this product as is. I see myself getting away with only this on my face on days when I don’t want to wear makeup. It’s just that it didn’t do anything on my breakouts.
Theralax Aromatic Relaxant Oil
Price: Php 175.00
This relaxant oil is a natural stress reliever to soothe pain and discomforts like nervous tensions, anxiety, fatigue and depression. It also nourishes and hydrates the skin with its blended essential oil ingredients. Same with the Prima Intensiwhite Snow Cream, this product has no PAO. However, the manufacturing and expiration dates are printed out.
Packaging:
The Theralax Aromatic Relaxant Oil comes in a plastic packaging and weighs 60 ml. The packaging is not good in sealing the product because I always experience leaks.
Smell:
This aromatic oil has a lavender scent which smells very good.
Performance:
The product has a stinging sensation but lingers only for a while. It alleviates stress and anxiety very fast.
Verdict: I recommend this
As a person who is reluctant to take oral medications whenever I feel something bad, this is a good alternative. The price is reasonable even if it only takes away the pain for a while.

You know it is really great and to be very honest I love when the honest the real and not only about marketing. This product really looks promising and your review on this makes it wonderful.
I like it when a blogger really gives an honest review. I really appreciate this. I’m scared trying new products for skin care each time though coz my skin is over sensitive. However if course this is very detailed and informative for all.
