Who doesn’t want clean, hydrated and soothed skin? I think everyone actually does! On my journey to control the pimple purge, I tried so hard to remember the skincare products that I used to love. I thought of my appreciation to micellar water. It was in my previous skin care routine when I had zero problem with breaking out. The Garnier Rose Water Micellar Cleanser was one of the newly released micellar cleanser. I knew I had to get it. The Garnier Rose Water Micellar Cleanser claims to deeply clean the skin while making the skin look hydrated and soothed. Actually, it’s a first for Garnier to combine rose water and micellar technology.

According to Byrdie, rose water is one of the most commonly used beauty tool for centuries. It has the ability to hydrate and sooth, prevents inflammation and purifies both the hair and skin. Moreover, it’s created by boiling rose petals in water.

Micellar Water

Healthline and Allure mentioned that micellar water removes makeup, cleanses and tones. Although it looks and feels like regular water, it is composed of purified water, moisturizers and mild and gentle surfactants. Micellar water pulls the dirt, makeup and oil from the skin. Also, there is no need to rinse this off. It promotes hydration and keeps the skin clear. Lastly, it’s convenient to use since it does the job for other skin care products.

The Garnier Rose Water Micellar Cleanser comes in the usual micellar container bottle of Garnier. One can also see an image of a pink rose inside. Moreover, it is Halal certified. The usual informations are at the back, like its claims, directions, manufacturing and expiration dates, and PAO. Lastly, it has an information at the back that this PET bottle is made of 25% recycled plastic. This means that it saves 74 tons of virgin plastic per year based on 2019 quantities. That sounds good for the environment!

Smell:

This product smells clean and also has a faint smell of fresh roses.

Application:

Garnier suggests to shake the product well before use. According to its packaging, the Garnier Rose Water Micellar Cleanser should be:

Poured onto cotton pad; and
Swiped gently on skin, eyes and lips.

If you only want to remove your eye makeup, hold the pad over closed eyes for a few seconds. Afterwards, gently wipe it without harsh rubbing. Also, its packaging says that this product does not require any rinsing any more. It also advises its users to check the cotton for the proof. This product can be used in the morning and in the evening.

I use this product after my cleanser, acting as my double cleanser. Truthfully, I still see a lot of makeup products and dirt on my cotton pad. My skin definitely feels comfortably clean after. It’s the type of clean that’s just healthy and moisturizing. It’s prepped for the next skincare product.

This product definitely feels hydrating. Also, my skin feels and looks healthy, and radiant! This gives me the right amount of TLC after a day of sun exposure and makeup.
