My Top 10 Lip Products

Hello, beautiful soul! I know that every makeup lover has one favorite makeup product that, without a doubt, makes him/her go straight towards the checkout counter. The feeling is actually indescribable, and as I attempt to do so, I’m left with a cheating feeling; knowing my words are nowhere near how the feeling truly is. Without second thoughts, you already know that you have to have it. I know for sure that this kind of feeling is not bound to makeup, but is familiar to all. In my case, I don’t know how my lip products have expanded in a snap! LOL. I want to share my current top 10 favorite lip products as result of my impulse buying. Enjoy!

Product: Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle in PMS

Reason: The formula is very creamy, rich and pigmented. You literally need one swipe; however, easily comes off.

Price: $5.50 from Colourpop.com

Reason: The product stays so long on my lips even after I eat or drink. However, the first application is a struggle because this needs to be warmed up on the skin for smoother application.

Product: Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow

Price: P1,200.00 from Sephora.ph

Reason: As a person who hates to touch up, this actually stays long on my lips compared to other glosses I’ve tried. Plus points for the smell, packaging and the illusion of a plumper lips.

Product: Wet n Wild MegaLast Lip Color Lipstick in Wine Room

Price: P160.00 from Shopee.ph

Reason: This lipstick is so affordable, yet I assure you that the pigment does not slack off and could compete with other matte lipsticks. What I don’t like about this is that it feathers out after a few hours.

Product: Colourpop Ultra Satin Lip in Echo Park

Price: $6.50 from Colourpop.com

Reason: I’m a person who’s fond of bold lip colors, but once in a blue moon, I find myself reaching for this product when I want a very toned-down lip color. This stays long enough even if it’s a satin finish. It does not bleed, but a bit patchy when applied. There’s also a tacky feeling when I press my lips together.

Product: Maybelline Creamy Matte Brown Nudes in Nude Nuance

Price: P299.00 from Maybelline Counters

Reason: This is my perfect everyday lipstick. It’s very creamy and pigmented. However, I’m not really fond of its smell; but hey, you really get your money’s worth with this one.

Product: MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour in Fashion Legacy

Price: P1,300.oo from MAC Counters

Reason: One swipe is all you need for the WHOLE day – eating, drinking and kissing included. I will definitely keep on repurchasing this when I ran out of it. It’s so good, I promise it’s worth the splurge.

Reason: The formula is so good, that I think it’s underpriced! LOL. I highly recommend this because I had no experience of bleeding, feathering, and it fades just a teeny-tiny bit after eating. It feels so lightweight on the lips, too!

Product: Jeffree Star Velour Liquid Lipstick in Unicorn Blood

Price: $18.00 from JeffreeStarCosmetics.com

Reason: This is definitely the best I’ve tried! The formula is so good that even if it dries matte, it does not emphasize the lines of my lips. It stays on my lips the whole day as well – perfect for me who hates to touch up. The shade is also unique and I always get compliments when I wear this. Give this a try!
