Makeup Breakdown
Packaging:
The Saem Single Blusher weighs 5 grams and packaged in a cylindrical plastic container. The lid is see-through making the product visible. You get to see at the back the product’s name, shade, and other details. Additionally, it is made in Korea and PAO is 24 months.
Shade:
This blush has around 30 shades ranging from muted beige, purples, subtle pinks to wild plums. I’ll be testing CR02 or Baby Coral for this review. It is described as a “soft baby coral that brings a healthy glow to the cheeks”.
You may head on to YesStyle if you want to see all the shades available for this product.
Smell:
One of the main ingredients of this product is Rosa Centifolia Flower Water. Hence, I think that makes the product smell powdery-floral. It smells nice, actually, and I like how it smells faintly. Moreover, this could pass as a fragrance.
Price:
I bought my Saem Single Blusher from YesStyle for less than P250. I think for its size and quality, it’s cheap already.
Application:
The Saem Single Blusher has a Mineral Fitting Cushion (MFC) Method wherein its soft mineral powder and fitting powder stays put well on the skin for an added natural radiance. This blush can be applied and blended through the fingertips or brush.
I tried to apply the blush using an angled brush and it applied evenly on my cheeks. A little goes a long way. Its color payoff is the actual color as seen on the pan. There was no patchy area. Lastly, it blended over my foundation seamlessly even if I didn’t set it with powder.
Performance:
I think that the Saem Single Blusher did a very good job as you can see from my photos. Eight hours have passed and the blush has stayed still. I did not retouch at all. Moreover, it appeared natural throughout the day. It also blended well with my morena complexion. Most of all, I like how it stayed matte throughout my wear-test.
Verdict: I recommend this product!
Claims:
- Natural and buildable color that blends easily and stays on
I agree! The Saem Single Blusher left me in awe with its color pay-off. It is true to its color and it blends effortlessly. Plus points since I applied it over my foundation which I didn’t set with powder. Hats off for zero patches for eight hours straight! I even took a nap with my blush on (don’t do it, LOL.)
- Infused with 7 jewel powders and mineral powder for a smooth and flawless finish
This blush felt so smooth when I swatched it on my skin. It has a bit of a creamy texture. I think that helped in its smooth and flawless finish.
- Fine powder adheres smoothly to skin to deliver natural color payoff
This product remained to look natural even though it was on for 8 hours. Its texture helped to adhere smoothly to skin. Although it is a powder product, it has a hint of creamy feel to it.
- Infused with sebum control powder that absorbs sweat and sebum
I think The Saem Singel Blusher did fairly well to control sweat and sebum. Although it didn’t stay fully matte after 8 hours. It still gave that natural finish look. I love it!
