Indeed, wedding planning is a whirlwind of emotions and a lot of decisions. One of the biggest decisions, and, let’s face it – costly, is wedding decor. Aside from looking good in photos, you want it to reflect you and your partner’s personality and create the atmosphere that you want. In this post, I’m sharing my experience with Event Designs by Tiffany. I hope this review will help you as you navigate the world of wedding decor, searching for your wedding stylist.

Event Stylist: Event Designs by Tiffany

Tiffany was a dream to work with from the time we interviewed her, up to the day of execution on our wedding day. We appreciate that she is upfront with sharing details specially on cost transparency. This is very important to us, because the cost of event styling is not cheap at all. Also, I like that she recommends with the best intent of ensuring everything is within our vision. Moreover, Tiffany was never pushy, always respectful of our ideas, and consistently punctual – even going above and beyond by meeting us at our venue for a detailed decor walkthrough. You can absolutely count on Event Designs by Tiffany for professional service.

Our “Summer in Baguio” wedding theme, with a sunset-inspired palette and forest green accents, was brought to life beautifully by Tiffany. We envisioned a simple, homey, and whimsical feel, with vibrant flowers adding pops of color. Tiffany expertly executed nearly all of our agreed-upon design elements, from repurposing church decor at the reception, to the three stunning focal points of our reception I shared to her in detail, and a perfect venue layout. There were just some items that didn’t go as planned. My wedding bouquet had pink-purple peonies which is not in our palette, and our church wedding signage was set up just in time before I walked down the aisle. While these were small details, these had been discussed thoroughly during our meetings. That said, everything else was truly beautiful, and we received countless compliments from our guests about the wedding decor.

Tiffany was incredibly accommodating, fulfilling all our requests, from cozy pallet seating in the front garden for happy hour to custom signage and selfie mirrors. Tiffany’s keen eye for detail impressed us, and we were so happy with the results. We wanted decor with meaning, not just aesthetics, and she delivered perfectly. However, one thing to note for future couples: because the guests’ dining seats were rented from a third-party supplier, changes to the final seat count couldn’t be accommodated close to the wedding date.

From the moment we met Tiffany, we knew she was the right choice. She provided a detailed breakdown of all costs and was incredibly flexible in adjusting designs to fit our vision and budget. Also, among all that we saw, her edge was on modern styles. We loved her minimalistic aesthetic and her focus on creating intentional details; small details but big impact. Lastly, she was very fun to work with. She’s chill, easy to talk to, and has always been responsive whenever we have questions. Hence, we think she’s worth the price!

Recommendation for Couples:

• Ready your design pegs. Agree with your spouse about your theme. Start saving inspirations and try to identify what are your must-haves and nice-to-haves.
• Communicate your non-negotiables. Be clear to your stylist about the things that should be as is. Meaning, things that you won’t accept replaced or tweaked.
• Be as detailed as possible. Share a visualization of your layout – where the cocktail tables should be, how many seats to put, and so on. Don’t think you’re overdoing it. Clarity is key for proper execution, so don’t hesitate to be thorough.
