Halloween Makeup Looks
One random fact about me is that Halloween is my favorite season. I love all the horror and thriller movies a lot and I grew up fascinated by their excitement. Also, it’s one special time to be extra extra just because. For this Halloween, I did three makeup looks. I did an “I bleed glitters”, vain wife left by husband, and a zombie mermaid. Enjoy reading and I hope you get a few tips from what I did. Happy Halloween!

Glue the zipper using an eyelash glue.
I bought the zipper at the local market for less than P20.00 only. There are also cheap eyelash glues available in the market. I just trimmed the zipper at the sides and applied the lash glue on the metal parts. I made sure that the glue was getting tacky or drying before I stick it on my face. Be creative. You can put it any other way you wanted, even on the neck!
2. Proceed to your makeup routine.
Apply makeup outside the zippered area. I only did a neutral makeup look because I wanted the focus to be on the glitters. I also added a little bit of drama with my winged eyeliner and flirty eyelashes. Highlighter need not be popping. Just a healthy glow will do.
3. The fun part: GLITTERS!
The glitter primer will help the glitters adhere to your skin. Patience is key and keep on gently patting it onto the skin.
Honey? Come home now.

Apply liquid latex and tissue for peeling skin
I bought my liquid latex from Shoppee but I don’t really recommend it. It does the job but it stings the eyes so badly and hurts my airway when inhaled. Anyway, the first thing I did is to apply the liquid latex parallel to my nose, starting from my forehead to the tip of the nose. I applied one layer of tissue over it. I recommend using a very thin type of tissue so it would blend seamlessly with the skin. When it has dried, I applied another layer; again liquid latex first then tissue. I used 3 layers for this look. Once it has completely dried, I peeled the inner parts to achieve a peeling skin effect.
2. Proceed to your makeup routine
Any eye makeup would do for this look. I did a bold makeup look because I wanted to be a vain wife left behind by my husband because of my ugly wound. Dramatic, I know haha. Also, I used a brush to apply foundation over the peeling skin/tissue areas.
3. Add special effects on the cut
At the center of my wound, I applied liquid latex again and cotton over it. I used red and black eyeshadows to mimic blood then applied fake liquid blood. I let the blood drip down to my lips. P.S. it doesn’t taste good nor bad, but I remember I nearly puked. The fake blood was also from Shoppee.
I used a yarn for a stitched effect.

Sketch the wounds
I used a black eyeliner to sketch the wound. It’s not necessary to go heavy-handed with this.
2. Use a green eyeshadow to mimic scales
This part had me laughing for a good while. I planned to buy fishnet stockings but I used this one instead. If you’re familiar what it is, comment down below! I used it to mimic the scales.
3. Apply liquid latex and tissue for peeling skin
Same procedure applies with my second halloween makeup look. Latex first then tissue and layer if necessary. I did 3 layers for this look.
4. Proceed to your makeup routine
I just played around with the makeup. I used a liquid lipstick for my eyebrows, bold colors for the lids and glitters on the crease.
5. Add special effects
I also used Face Body Jewels for festivals or parties. It’s the gems at the top of my brow bone and under eyes.
That’s it guys! Thank you so much for reading my post. I hope you had fun as much as I did making it. I wonder what looks I’ll do next Halloween? If you have any ideas in mind, let me know. I literally cannot wait!
