Every single pregnancy is completely unique. We tend to think that if we don’t have the common or other’s struggles, we aren’t allowed to complain (or worse, we feel like we’re doing something wrong). My journey didn’t include morning sickness, but it brought swollen feet from the 20th week. I skipped the stretch marks, but met skin discoloration instead. My blood sugar is fine, but some days, just standing up and taking a step makes me want to cry out in pain. Your struggles are valid. Your pain is real. And your journey is yours alone to carry.
